Indonesia’s Civil Servant Enrollment Test Sets to Open on September 26

Indonesian people who are keen on working for the government are now getting the opportunity to be the next civil servant.

According to the State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucrat Reformation (PANRB) Ministry spokesperson Mudzakir, the registration of 2018 civil servants recruitment (CPNS) would begin this month. Interested candidates can access the official website sscn.bkn.go.id since yesterday (Sept 19), but the registration will open on September 26, Tempo reports.

In a written statement, Mr Mudzakir said each state institutions would publish the job openings on September 19. He said, “The announcement starts today. While the registration via online in sscn.bkn.go.id will start on September 26.”

All Indonesian citizens above 18 years old are eligible to participate in the national recruitment. Applicants should comprehend the steps and requirements needed for the registration, such as the citizenship identity number (NIK). “Make sure applicant has a right NIK. If necessary, check the number to the regional Population and Civil Registry (Dukcapil),” he added.

Meanwhile, the State Personnel Agency (BKN) head Bima Haria Wibisana has sent a letter to ministries, institutions, and regional administration to disclose the CPNS recruitment on September 19 at least in light of the vacant positions and formations.
