With e-learning spends projected at $560.7 million in the GCC, it is quite obvious that the focus of countries in the MENA is on developing the talent pool with different learning programs. This Summit has welcomed onboard CrossKnowledge (a part of the popular Wiley brand) as one of its platinum sponsors.

The challenges faced by the HR function of the public sector are considerably different from the private sector, especially in the MENA region where the strength of youth workforce is fast outpacing the count of government sector jobs. So a major focus is on developing the necessary skills for the youth through different techniques.

Matthew Santaspirt, Sales and Market Development Director for EMEA for Wiley said,” Innovation is the key as it helps HR professionals reach more individuals and adapt their training to continually evolving learning styles. Innovation allows us to create more meaningful learning pathways, and learning communities for individuals to share their knowledge and expertise.”

“Wiley has been transforming individuals and companies for more than 200 years, and with the governments in the Middle East we have the opportunity to help transform the entire region. Innovation is the core of our culture and strategy, and we design fast, engaging learning pathways and communities where individuals learn, share, compete and collaborate,” Matthew later added.
