Bankruptcy, mass lay-offs, and cyber-attacks are some of the most alarming incidents that have happened in many organizations during the global fight against COVID-19.
To help HR leaders stay resilient, international events firm Rockbird Media, in partnership with World Vision Philippines, will hold a two half-day virtual event for HR leaders across the Asia Pacific region on August 5-6, 2020.
The virtual event entitled “Building Resilience: How do leaders rise post-COVID” aims to discuss how HR leaders can power through and rise from one of the world’s most destructive pandemics. The main topics include today’s most relevant challenges such as crisis management, HR tech and transformation, E-learning, flexible working arrangements, and leadership & talent management amid and post-COVID.
At the end of the event, the HR leaders must be able to draw out best practices from actual work scenarios and draft the most effective HR management strategies for years to come.
The proceeds from this event will go to World Vision’s COVID-19 emergency response fund. The virtual event seeks to raise funds for over 1,000 families affected by the pandemic.
The initial list of thought leaders who will facilitate the discussions includes Paulus Swasono Satyo, CHRO at Sinarmas Mining Indonesia, Jayesh Menon, HR Director at Moët Hennessy, LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) Singapore, Mukta Arya, HR Head, SEA and Head of Talent Development and Inclusion, Asia Pacific at Société Générale Singapore, Jaspreet Kakar, CHRO at AXA Philippines, and Nadiah Tan Abdullah, CHRO at SP Setia Malaysia.
