Tech Mahindra Rolls Out Saral Rozgar Cards New Job Service in India

Tech Mahindra has launched a new service called the ‘Saral Rozgar Cards‘ in order to create a common pool of jobs and job providers. Through this initiative, the company wants to offer a low-cost nationwide service to the undergraduate level individuals, looking out for job and also the job providers.

The service will focus on providing multiple job opportunities to the candidates, which they can access with the help of their mobile phone.

Jagdish Mitra, Head – Mobility Business, Tech Mahindra, comments, “We are thrilled to introduce the Saral Rozgar Cards nationally. In the past 2 years, we have registered close to two million subscribers spread across 800 locations in India, and have successfully engaged more than 50,000 job seekers with prospective employers.”

The job seekers can use the service by purchasing the Saral Rozgar card for Rs 50 and completing the registration process by making a voice call on 1860-180-1100. Under this service the company will also help the individuals looking for job to create their resumes which will help them to get in touch with the right employer.

Moreover, the SMEs and Entrepreneurs can also reach them via voice call. Once the employers short-list the required set of jobseekers, they can approach thousands of shortlisted candidates with one click via SMS or via automated voice calls in the preferred regional language of the jobseekers’ choice. On receiving these notifications, candidates connect with employers directly.

Speaking about the launch, Vivek Chandok, Vice President, Mobility VAS Product & Portfolio, Tech Mahindra, said, “Currently Saral Rozgar has more than 1.00 L job openings in 100 plus job categories. In Delhi and NCR region, we have more than 15,000 jobs identified in the major industrial clusters of Dharuhera, Manesar, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Sahibabad and Dadri. The top job categories in demand are retail, accounting, tailor, electrician, machine operator, cooks, security guards, F&B executives, delivery boys among others.”

Saral Rozgar serves society by creating a job market for “blue collared job seekers” and the “job providers”. This low cost service enables job seekers to find suitable job for themselves by creating profile and helping job providers to access this huge pool of registered job seekers over WEB/WAP or IVR.

Saral Rozgar takes the blue collar job ecosystem to the next level and connects the two ends through mobile phone as a medium.
