The company was further awarded as the best recruitment firm of the year in senior management roles over US$10K per month – Silver at the Human Resources Vendors of the Year. These awards come after sustained growth for Randstad in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia under Managing Director Michael Smith’s leadership. It comes as a result of increasing efficiency from consultants in terms of gross profit per consultant, and not just additional headcount in the business – often a quick way of increasing revenue.
The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards, organised by MORS Group, awards leading organisations and leaders operating in the Asian region who revolutionise leadership and sustainability.
Nominated organisations each undergo a management process audit to contest in one of the seven categories of Awards that measures organisations against others on a similar playing field. The ACES Awards, now in its third year, saw over 180 nominations this year with representatives from 44 corporations around Asia attending the awards ceremony.
Randstad was awarded the Industry Champion of the Year award, given to organisations who are leaders in the respective industry by maintaining a competitive edge, setting industry trends and having the ability to evolve with the dynamic changes of the industry they serve.

The Eminent Leaders in Asia award is presented to exemplary individuals leading high performance businesses. Individuals cannot be nominated for this award and are instead hand-picked by the judges. Managing Director for Randstad South/Southeast Asia Michael Smith was given this prestigious recognition alongside Aireen Omar, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Berhad.
The HR Vendors of the Year Awards, organised by the Human Resources magazine, is one of the largest awards recognising the HR industry in Asia. The awards, judged by senior HR leaders, recognises organisations that set the benchmark for the HR industry in Singapore, and across Asia.
Randstad Singapore was awarded the Silver trophy for Best Recruitment Firm for roles over $10k, highlighting its capabilities and expertise in the recruitment of senior professional talent in the workforce.
