Qualtrics, provider of the world’s leading insight platform, announced that it has more than tripled its customer base to over 500 customers, grown to 75 employees, expanded to three offices and a data centre in Australia, all in only two years. The company also aims to launch its first Asian office in Japan in early 2017 to support increasing demand in the country.

This impressive growth is due to the market demand for Qualtrics’ powerful and sophisticated insight platform, which allows for rapid customer experience, employee engagement and market research program implementation. The Qualtrics Insight Platform’s significant ease-of-use allows companies to quickly implement insight and feedback programs that can positively impact business in a short amount of time.

Qualtrics has also hired customer experience expert Vicky Katsabaris to provide guidance to Qualtrics’ customers and help them be successful in their Voice of Customer (VoC) programs. Prior to joining Qualtrics, Vicky was the General Manager of Customer Advocacy strategy at Telstra.

She was responsible for developing Telstra’s corporate strategy for improving customer advocacy, major transformation programs and company-wide culture change. Prior to Telstra, Vicky was the Director of Customer Experience at VMware where she led the implementation of the CX program across Asia Pacific and Japan (JAPAC).

“We have brought Vicky onboard to provide expert guidance to organisations implementing customer experience programs, leveraging her knowledge and Qualtrics global best practices and thought leadership,” said Bill McMurray, Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Japan, Qualtrics. “The insights our customers are gaining as a result of using Qualtrics are helping them to make data-driven business decisions and achieve a competitive advantage in their marketplaces.”

Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events, Stuart Ayres, said the company has made itself at home in the nation’s innovation capital. “Companies like Qualtrics represent the future of jobs in NSW. From a one-person office two years ago, the company now has 75 staff in Sydney. Qualtrics uses local data centre to ensure compliance with Australian data privacy law—an amazing growth story and a real win for our city.”

Ryan Smith, CEO, Qualtrics, said, “We are excited to have grown to over 500 clients in JAPAC and to witness the rapid adoption of the Qualtrics Insights Platform here. Qualtrics sees significant opportunities in the region, which is why we are launching a new office in Japan in early 2017 and exploring other Asia markets, such as Singapore. We expect to see continued strong growth across Asia Pacific and Japan given the rapid expansion of our customer and employee bases over the last two years.”
