KPMG is seeking to hire 1,000 digital professionals in various specializations in India. These positions are open across the North, West, South regions. The company is looking to recruit talents in Cloud, AI, Cyber, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence, with varying experience levels from 2 years to seasoned individuals with 15-18 years of experience.
Speaking to ETCIO, Akhilesh Tuteja – Partner and Head, Digital Consulting at KPMG in India, said that the hiring drive aims to power all the large-scale transformation projects that the company is executing. Since these projects demand year-long investments in effort, resources, and technology implementations, KPMG will be hiring more people in the coming years to address the growing demand and scope of these engagements. It is committed to growing its team by a factor of three in the next three years. This will comprise 30% freshers, 50% experienced and 20% senior executives.
When asked if the company is looking to create new product lines or revenue streams, he answered, “The massive cloud, cyber and data transformations we’re driving across enterprises unlock incredible business value, generating net new lines of revenue for our clients and ourselves. These offer rich avenues for cross-pollination, allowing us to convert our learnings in one context into accelerated, repeatable value offerings relevant across industries and sectors”
The company’s primary focus is on business-led transformation projects driven by AI and technology. Therefore, the new hires will be working on modern technology like AI, data science and cybersecurity.
