Big companies do take good care of their interns. According to a recent poll, Facebook can offer Interns upto US$8,000 (S$11,600) a month, while Snapchat has offered interns as much as US$9,000 a month. Many major companies also offer interns a housing stipend.
This poll was conducted by Jesse Collins, who is completing his final-year semester at Purdue University and working for a Seattle based start-up Curalate.
The findings were based on responses gathered from nearly 290 new graduates and 290 interns about offers received for start dates in 2017. A similar research was conducted last year with the data being posted on Twitter and various tech community sites including Reddit subgroup and the Facebook page Hackathon Hackers, AsiaOne Business reports.

Meanwhile, we just bumped into one of the interesting offers made by ILoveGin for a “gin Intern”, who would get paid £20,000-a-year to tour Europe, tasting spirits. This candidate will get to set their own hours travelling across the UK and Europe sampling different gins for the company.
Due to overwhelming number of applicants, the company will put off deciding the winner until New Year due. The new Gin Intern for the company would work remotely for two days a week, visit one or two new gin companies and the ILoveGin’s London office once a month. Grab your chance perhaps to get lucky in 2017!
