GroupM Asia Pacific are proud winners at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, an event put together by Human Resources Magazine to celebrate and honour recruitment professionals in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
The Group won a total of 12 trophies across the three markets with stiff competition from companies across all industry sectors including SAP, Maybank and DBS.
Among the awards won by GroupM were Gold for Best Career Website (Hong Kong), Gold for Best Use of Recruitment Technology (Malaysia and Hong Kong), Silver for Best Use of Recruitment Advertising Strategy, and Silver for Best Recruitment Evaluation Technique (Malaysia).
GroupM was the only company from the media and advertising industry to submit entries for the main categories. Angela Ryan, Chief Talent Officer APAC commented, that “as our industry evolves so does great talent management”.
“Recruitment is our first connection point with talent and our innovation in this area reflects what we stand for and how we stand apart from other organisations,” Ryan added. “I am very proud of our exceptional talent acquisition team and that their achievements have merited such high recognition from the judges.”

Michael Wright, Head of Talent Acquisition in Asia Pacific, was deservedly awarded the Best In-House Recruitment Professional.
