As we enter a culture-first decade, it’s only appropriate that Singapore’s #1 Best Place to Work in 2020 has a “strong cultural identity” with a culture that “breeds collaboration and helpfulness”, has a workforce made up of “smart, intelligent and experienced colleagues” and offers exceptional benefits and perks. That’s right, the tech giant, Google, is officially Singapore’s Best Place to Work in 2020. Congratulations to Google!
Being named the winner of Glassdoor’s 12th annual Employees’ Choice Awards (its first year in Singapore), honoring the Best Places to Work in 2020 across Singapore, is no small feat. 2020 is the most competitive year-to-date, with more eligible companies than ever, showcasing how many companies are prioritizing culture in their workplaces today.
Glassdoor recognised a total of 10 Singapore companies (with over 1,000 employees) in our 2020 Best Places to Work list. Beyond that, we’ve also compiled Best Places to Work Lists for U.S. Large Companies (over 1,000 employees), U.S. Small & Medium Companies (fewer than 1,000 employees), as well as awards across Canada, UK, France, Germany — and also new this year — Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
“This year’s winners stand out for promoting transparency with employees, offering career growth opportunities and providing work driven by impact and purpose,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor president, chief operating officer and incoming chief executive officer. “Congratulations go to all of the exceptional employers this year who stand out in the eyes of their employees.”
