Why is People Potential running the HR Exchange?
This is the most common question we’ve been asked since we launched the first HR Exchange in 2009.
Here’s why:
- First, while there’s value in large conferences and exhibitions, and you sometimes stumble on a nice surprise or two, we want to create a smaller, more intimate event. The HR Exchange is a place and time where you can listen, participate, meet your peers and spend quality time doing so.
- Second, speaking of peers – for it to be a quality time, we’ve restricted the invites to HR and L&D practitioners with at least 5 years of experience in these fields. We want good questions and good conversations. And for you to have the confidence that you can tap the minds of like-minded professionals.
- Finally, we’re a small organisation but we’ve got big dreams. As trainers, coaches and consultants, one of our main goals is to lift standards. Getting together to exchange ideas and experiences is central to this end.
Besides that one main question, we would say we’ve also received this feedback pretty consistently: that the atmosphere at HR Exchange is warm, friendly and inviting. That people feel relaxed and unpressured. This means a lot to us.
